    ROAD TRIP!!

    Hey Everyone,
I’m on my way to CA. Say some prayers because this trip will end hopefully with a publishing deal for Brio, Breakaway and Brio & Beyond Magazines!! Also planned on this trip; interviews for 2 new books I’m writing, interviews for the magazines and interviews for the radio show and blogs. Lots of talking all the time. My friend Daniel Looman is along for the ride taking photos and videos along the way. Tonight we’re staying in Phoenix, AZ with my friend Shannon and her husband Joel and their 3 boys. It makes me miss Laura and Lincoln. Tomorrow morning we’re off to the King of Kings Skateboard Ministries HQ to see some pros and score some gear. I’ll have more photos and maybe even some videos tomorrow night. In the mean time check out some shots Daniel took today of our 12 HOUR DRIVE!! Yikes it felt long.

    Thank a Vet!

I’m sitting in the airport getting ready to fly to Dallas for the night and got to see a great moment. A soldier returning from Iraq just walked off the plane into the arms of his wife and baby daughter. It was awesome! Next time you see a soldier, or a vet thank them for the freedoms you have. How on earth Napolitano can call vets a threat to national security is so beyond me. How does she still have a job? Crazy!!

    Happy Easter & Monday’s Show

    Hey Everyone,
Have a great Easter. Thank the Lord for all He has done for all of us. Share His Good News with someone, anyone just share it!!

I’m so excited about Monday’s show.
Joining me by phone is Darren Wells of King of Kings Skateboard Ministries.
I’ve known Darren for a long time and this is one amazing ministry!

It’s such a crazy thought that almost 10 years ago I started KOR Ministries in an attempt to reach the Skate community. At the time there just wasn’t much outreach to a part of my life I love. How times have changed. KKSM is on the frontline of ministry outreach. You’ll love this radio program.

See you Monday at 12:00-1:00PM PST on the KOR KAST LIVE Radio Show
    God Bless,

    NEW WEBSITES!!

Hey, just a quick note so you all will check out the new magazine websites. Start at the KOR Ministries start page and go from there. I know there have been a lot of comments about printing a physical magazine. We’re really looking into it. The best way to help is to fill out our short survey by clicking on the “FREE DOWNLOADS” tab. We’re trying to gather as much information as possible to complete our plans for the future. In the past it cost almost 4 million dollars a year to staff, publish and print the three magazines. We clearly don’t have this kind of budget right now, but are looking for ways to raise the money. Your information will really help. Fill out the survey, get your free downloads and we’ll be contacting you all very soon.
    Promise!
    God Bless,

Guests for March 9: Mark Joseph and Molly Jenson!

    About Mark Joseph:
Mark Joseph is a multi-media producer and the founder/CEO of the MJM Entertainment Group, Bully! Pulpit Records and the host of Bullypulpit.com. Mark is an award winning music producer who has worked with many of today’s top recording artists including Lauryn Hill, P.O.D., Sixpence None The Richer, Creed, MxPx, Dr. John, ZZ Top, Blink 182, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, others. In 2003, Mark was tapped by actor/director Mel Gibson to produce the rock soundtrack for the groundbreaking film, The Passion Of The Christ for which he received a GMA Music Award. His label, Bully Pulpit Records launched in 2008 with distribution through Nettwerk Music Group with the debut record of singer/songwriter Molly Jenson. Mr. Joseph is the author/editor of four books including The Rock & Roll Rebellion, Sarah Barracuda: The Rise of Sarah Palin, Faith, God & Rock ‘n’ Roll, & Pop Goes Religion. He writes a regular column for Foxnews.com and The Huffington Post. Mark has worked in development and/or marketing on 19 films including Narnia, Ray, Holes, The Ultimate Gift, I Am David and others. He is currently producing/developing three films: Monkey Trial, Reagan and Sensei.

You learn more about Mark’s thoughts in this great article:

    About Molly Jenson:

Imagine if you hadn’t truly planned on being a solo singer/songwriter, and then suddenly one day, you find yourself in the spotlight. Imagine never expecting to record an album, then one day you have one, and people even want to buy it. While this is a dream for most aspiring
musicians, Molly Jenson never dreamed this could happen to her.
It all began when San Diego singer-songwriter/producer Greg Laswell offered to co-write and produce Jenson’s first record. Greg and Molly worked remarkably well together, and on March 3rd 2009, she released her debut album, “Maybe Tomorrow”. You could easily equate “Maybe Tomorrow” to the work of Jonatha Brooke, Sheryl Crow and Aimee Mann, however, Molly is much more than an ectype. Behind Jenson’s heartfelt songs is an unfeigned artist, who is not afraid to reach out to an audience and let them know that she is tangible. It’s evident that her songs are purely based on her own life. Her ingenuous lyrics entail stories of love and loss, hardships and better days. Beyond that, Molly’s incredible vocal ability sets her apart from other female artists, and she does it with such ease.

Molly started by playing at local venues, and very quickly developed an audience. She has performed throughout California and the West Coast, and plans to tour more of the United States. In 2008, Japan and London embraced Molly for the first time. The experience added an overseas fanbase, and gave her the desire to continue to play her music around the world. Jenson has shared the stage with many other talented artists, such as Jon Foreman (of Switchfoot), Fiction Family, Tristan Prettyman, Greg Laswell, Ben Taylor, Schuyler Fisk, Anya
Marina, Rhett Miller (of Old 97s), and Jonatha Brooke. She loves to interact with the audience, and she makes it a point to have every performance be thoroughly entertaining and intimate, no matter how big or small the crowd. Her candidness and humor brings her close to her
audience in a very unique way, and we can safely say that no matter how far this star rises, she will always keep her feet on the ground.

Jenson has been in the music scene for only a few years, but she already has much to brag about. Molly was a nominee at the 2006 San Diego Music Awards for “Best Pop”, and she took home an award for “Best Acoustic Act” at the 2007 San Diego Music Awards, which was
voted by the public. Relevant Magazine compared her to Mazzy Star and Leona Naess, and in April of 2007, Teen Vogue Magazine named her “One of the three best new artists on MySpace”. Additionally, she has been featured .. Magazine’s ‘Culture Club Podcast’, and KGRL named her “Artist of the Month” for March of 2008. Molly has also graced the cover of Risen Magazine’s March ‘09 edition.

You may have heard some of Molly’s music on television, as her song “Wait For You Here” was used in the premier of NBC’s “Knight Rider”, and her single “Give It Time” was featured on the hit CW show,”Privileged”. She also made her debut at the Sundance Film Festival in
January of 2008. Most recently, Molly was nominated for a 2009 Orange County Music Award for “Best Pop”. She still has several dreams she’s yet to conquer, one of which is being a guest musician on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Bonnie Hunt Show. Ellen and/or Bonnie, if
you’re reading, you might want to hurry, because Molly’s dance card is filling up fast.

In 2008, Molly signed a record deal with producer Mark Joseph’s Bully! Pulpit Records a joint label venture with Nettwerk Music Group. In addition to upcoming tours supporting the “Maybe Tomorrow” release, Molly is already working on her Sophomore album with Greg Laswell.
Fans of “Maybe Tomorrow” can rest assured that her upcoming work will be just as sublime. Molly pours passion, dedication, and creativity into all that she does. She remains closely connected with her supporters, and is continuously sharing the stage and collaborating
with great musicians. Keep your ears and eyes open for more of her in the future.
